“Arizona Footprints” quilt pattern was designed by Jean Biddick, an award winning quiltmaker, author and teacher whose specialty is creating stunning machine-pieced masterpieces.
Jean designed this beautiful quilt for the confident beginner as well as the more experienced quiltmaker.
Rotary cutting and simple piecing make it come together easily, and a unique pieced border gives it the finishing touch with 3 sizes to choose from. There are four fabrics in this quilt: a dark fabric, a light background fabric, and two medium values. Jean used a red (dark), sand (background), and turquoise and gold (medium values).
The instructions are written to reflect that color scheme; however, you are encouraged to choose your own colors to make a quilt that is uniquely your own.
Price: $12, which includes shipping and handling.
Pattern also sold at The Quilter’s Market.
All proceeds for the pattern go to Quilt for a Cause, Inc, a 501c nonprofit organization which uses the art and business of quilting to pursue advances in breast and/or gynecological cancers by raising funds for research, by continuing the education of medical professionals, and by supporting clinical organizations that raise awareness, offer detection and provide treatment to all women.
