“Around the Town” quilt pattern was designed by Tucsonan Kenci Lewis for Quilt for a Cause. A super easy two-block quilt that’s as much fun as a stroll around the town, where every block looks different, and there’s something interesting around the corner.
Use a collection, choose 4 or 5 colors, or make it scrappy. It all works, when you trust the “Ms Mayor” to keep all the blocks harmonious, and the “Electric Company” to keep the town light and lovely.
Instructions are given for 3 sizes.
All proceeds from the pattern sales go to Quilt for a Cause, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization which uses the art and business of quilting to pursue advances in breast and/or gynecological cancers by raising funds for research, by continuing the education of medical professionals, and by supporting clinical organizations that raise awareness, offer detection and provide treatment for all women.
