Long Beach Quilt Show Bus Tour

QUILT FOR A CAUSE will be sponsoring a bus trip to the Long Beach Quilt Show July 22-25, 2010.

It is put on by the same people that do the Houston Show. In 2009 they had 1,200 quilts on display and there were 450 vendor booths.

1. Mountain View Tours will depart Tucson early Thursday, July 22, 2010. We were able to get a great summer rate. They have received both the Safety Excellence and Gold Safety Awards.

2. We will stop at Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations in Palm Desert, CA on the way over. Another stop will be for lunch in an area with several fast food restaurants.

3. We will arrive at the Hilton Long Beach hotel that evening. It is a 4 star hotel with a great reputation. When they found that we were a non-profit, they too gave us a wonderful deal on rooms. Occupancy will be 2 per room. Perhaps you have a friend that might be interested in going with you. The hotel has a restaurant and a grille. It is very near the Long Beach convention center that is hosting the Quilt Show.....I think within walking distance, but the bus will be able to take us back and forth.

4. Your two day entry ticket to the Quilt Show will be included.

5. We will leave Long Beach early Sunday, July 25 and will stop at Rosie's Quilt Shop in San Diego. The bus will get us back to Tucson that evening.

The total cost for this bus trip is $500. It will include your bus transportation, 3 night stay (double occupancy) at the Hilton and your 2 day entry into the Quilt Show. It will also include snacks for the bus and the tip for the bus driver. The only thing you will have to pay for is your food.

A $100 deposit with your Registration Form will be required to hold your space. The final payment will be due by May 31. Make checks payable to Quilt for a Cause, Inc. and mail to:
