Fabrics from many eras (some from the late 1800s) attest to the dedication of quilting women. We believe that this hand quilted, double wedding ring quilt was started and re-started by many hands over many decades, resulting in a finished product during the 1930s. Size 72 x 74.

For the last four years Quilt for a Cause has awarded a ribbon to a quilt in memory of one of our original board members, Dorothy Lee.
The committee chooses one quilt to receive the award that they consider to best exemplify the criteria that highlights Dorothy's Asian heritage in any of the following ways: Includes Asian-inspired fabric Uses an Asian technique in the design or quilting Has an Asian theme Includes Asian-style symbols or art
2020 is the fifth and final Dorothy Lee Award. It is hard to believe that Dorothy has been gone so long and we miss her dearly.
