“Broken Ribbon” quilt pattern was designed by Eileen Bonk exclusively for Quilt for a Cause, Inc., and we couldn’t be happier! This beginner-friendly pattern features a delightful border treatment with an accent “ribbon” threading up and down through the border. The center of the quilt looks complicated but it’s just a series of easy rail fences spinning in opposite directions! This pattern is easy enough for a beginner quilter to tackle, and interesting enough for more experienced quilters. By using your own selection of colors, you will have a lovely quilt for any occasion. And if that’s not enough, Eileen has given us instructions to make this quilt in FIVE sizes! From a pet bed that will make little quilter’s helper happy, to a Full/Queen bed-sized quilt.
All proceeds from the pattern sales go to Quilt for a Cause, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization which uses the art and business of quilting to pursue advances in breast and/or gynecological cancers by raising funds for research, by continuing the education of medical professionals, and by supporting clinical organizations that raise awareness, offer detection and provide treatment for all women.
