We are Partnering with Arizona Oncology Foundation and donated this quilt as a Raffle item for their Wine Tasting 2017 Fundraiser, the quilt raised $560 for the Foundation. Vintage quilt top from Paducah, KY circa 1940's made from men's shirts and ties. Finished with new batting and pocket watch fabric for the backing. Binding is made from suiting material. Both my sister Beverly Lyons and Sandra Ellis have had breast cancer. Bev died in 1987 and Sandra is now cancer free. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and after a double mastectomy am cancer free. This quilt is dedicated to all women out there with breast cancer. Size 51 x 57 inches.

Good Afternoon Friends!!! Quilt for a Cause has had another wonderfully busy weekend!!! We were very fortunate to participate in Cathey’s Sew and Vac Christmas in July event!! Not only were we able to sell quilts, patterns and raffle tickets, we were also one of the designated recipients for funds raised at this event!! Thank you Cathey’s!!
