Happy Birds

Colorful birds and minimalist tree branches combine in a delightful wall hanging for any season! Birds can be made with traditional needle turn or fusible applique, and tree branches are made with an easy improvisational technique. Suitable fabrics include cotton quilting weight;  batiks;  preferably non-directional, small to medium scale or textured prints.

The pattern includes three quilt designs.

All proceeds from the pattern sales go to Quilt for a Cause, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization which uses the art and business of quilting to pursue advances in breast and/or gynecological cancers by raising funds for research, by continuing the education of medical professionals, and by supporting clinical organizations that raise awareness, offer detection and provide treatment for all women.
